About MerseyCare Children’s Services

We at MerseyCare look to develop the young person's independence and improve their daily routine through a fine skill set adapted to the young person's needs. Whilst at MerseyCare the young person will also be offered activities in line with their wishes.

We create a supportive and secure environment where young people can overcome their challenges, unlocking their true potential

Our aim is to create a happy and calm environment in which young people are kept engaged whilst simultaneously learning key life skills.

Here at MerseyCare, we ensure that the young people we support have a key worker to assist them with a bespoke life skills program that will be personalised to the needs of each individual. We focus on introducing education such as Maths, English, Science and other subjects if required.

An education plan will be outlined to all young people when they are placed at MerseyCare. Time and energy will be centred on supporting, encouraging, and motivating their access to education.

We also encourage independence skills, staying safe in the community and online, and promoting a healthy lifestyle

We provide a positive home environment for our young people that has clear boundaries and structures, whilst encouraging growth and belief in themselves to achieve their full potential in life.
